A couple more photos

This is the building where my "vivienda" is... I suppose the best way to translate it would be a "flat". It is an apartment, but a really nice one. There really aren't houses around here, most of the residences are like this, but taller. We're on the 3rd floor, and Pedro's car lives underground in the garage.

This is another view of the hotel they are building. You can see the unique shape a little better here. It looks gorgeous. The ridges that you see towards the center of it is going to be the conference center.

Random Spain fact that I learned yesterday: Apparently all dogs have to have chips implanted in them. If you abandon a dog and it is caught by the animal control, they read the chip and give you a hefty fine of several thousand euros and throw you in jail! At the same time, they can use the chip (which is equipped with GPS) to track down dogs that run away or whatever. There's just no such thing as stray dogs here, because they're really concerned about stray dogs hurting people. Cats however, they don't seem to care about one way or another as they don't really post a thread.
