Snapping photos around Calle Uria and Campo San Francisco

Well I walked down to C/Uria today to go recharge my bus pass, and since the weather was horribly warm, humid, and sunny, I thought I might as well take advantage of the good lighting to snap a few photos that I've been meaning to get. There are quite a few, so I'll have to break it up into a few posts. Enjoy!

Okay I know I've shown the peacocks before, but I just can't get over it... every time I wander through Campo San Francisco they are just lounging around without a care in the world.

This is the statue "La Maternidad" (The Maternity) by Fernando Botero

Is that a statue of an American woman and child?

Haha, this sculpture is by a famous artist called Botero, who had a thing for big women... and for redheads, I might add. Google image "Botero" and check it out (on second thought, don't do it if you are offended by big naked women).
