Well so much for the excitement of reserving a hostel and that $0.13 I spent on the phonecall through Skype... I have a family in Spain now! I got an email and house address this morning (which means they probably have internet access!) If anyone is interested in knowing where I will be staying, here is the address:

Charo (the coordinator) said that they have had several study abroad students before and they they always seemed to work out great. Pedro is the father's name, but I don't know the mother right now... they have two adult daughters that live there with them (ages 30 and 40) and a cat. I looked up the address on Google, and it appears to be less than a mile away from campus!
I am going to email the Familia Fernández in just a few minutes to see if maybe they could either meet me at the airport or at the bus station from the airport and at least introduce myself since I will be living with them for the next few months. Charo told me that they do speak English, but I am going to try to avoid that as much as possible.
