whoops

Okay I can't resist, I will write a little more even though I just spent an hour on the post that disappeared.

Well, today I met Maria, the little girl I posted a picture of before... She is precious. I bought a little VT denim jacket for her before I left Blacksburg (shhh it was on sale!)

For those who are reading this regularly, don't forget that you can click on the images to make them larger.... it is just easier to read with smaller pictures.

This is Maria and Pedro, my Spanish father hehe.. he is always very nicely dressed, even though he is retired.

----photo removed----

I will write more later, or perhaps tomorrow... it is getting late and I have to go to a meeting for international students at 8am across town, but Pedro said he would drive me there.
Oh yeah, and classes start tomorrow but I still haven't been registered in classes... very interesting. We shall see, more on that later.
Hasta luego!

thanks for the updates - the little one is precious! And the jacket is perfect for her - not too big, but big enough for her to grow into. As for your blogs, may I suggest you do the original in notepad or word, then copy and paste onto the blog - if the internet goes down, you still have your work ... I don't want to miss a thing!!! Love you, k/mom

Hey Scrub! Glad you made it safe and sound! Yeah the time differences can really mess with you. Hey, are you checking your web mail? I would love to write but I am not really good with this whole blog thing. You know me the IT Director with "Security" always on the mind. :)

Love,
Julie

Another suggestion to "power blogging" and trying to beat the server time-outs, try a simple:

"CTRL-A" (select all), then
"CTRL-C" (copy selected)

within your blog entry text box before your click the PUBLISH button. This will copy all your text into memory.

If you experience a problem, simply go to a posting dialog again, focus the cursor in the blog entry text box, and then

"CTRL-V"

to paste your test into it again.

Cheers,

Goran
